Note About Deer Hunter 2 Patches
These
patches will upgrade your copy of Deer Hunter 2 to the latest
version. Before you begin, you must first determine what version
of Deer Hunter 2 you are currently runnning. This information
can be located in the game on the credits screen. Once you
have detemined what version you currently have you can install
the patch you need: In order to upgrade to the newest version
1.21, you must first be using or have upgraded to version
1.2 already. If you are running version 1.1, you will first
need to upgrade to 1.2, THEN upgrade to 1.21. I you are running
1.0, you must first upgrade to 1.1 and so on.
When you
installed Deer Hunter 2, you had the option of performing
a MINIMUM or a FULL install. If you chose a MINIMUM install,
you need the CD in the drive to play the game, with a full
install you do not. Once you have determined which type of
install you currently have, you can then choose which patch
is right for you. (Naturally you can change your install type
by uninstalling the game, and then reinstalling it with the
different install type selected, a FULL install is always
reccomended.)
