Auto Update
Deer Hunter
5's Auto-Update feature is designed to download the latest patch
for your version. The initial release version of Deer Hunter 5 was
1.0. The latest version is 1.1. Therefore, if you are running version
1.0 and wish to use Auto-Update, you will automatically upgrade
to version 1.1. To find Auto Update, go to the main menu and select
the 'settings' button, and choose the 'misc' submenu...use the button
labeled 'internet update'.
Note:
When using Auto-Update, the program will automatically download
the appropriate patch file. After it is finished, you will need
to exit Deer Hunter 5, at which time the file patch will be automatically
launched. Follow the directions on-screen, locating the folder where
you have Deer Hunter 5 installed. Always read the readme file that
comes with the patch you download.

is important to note that if you wish to play Multi-Player Deer
Hunter 5, your version and the version of the person(s) you
are playing with MUST match. |
Manual Download
You
also have the option of downloading and installing the patch manually.
The
patch is a self-extracting EXE. Once you have downloaded it, simply
double-click or Run the file to begin the patch process. Follow
the on-screen instructions.
